Eyebrow tattoos are a type of semi-permanent makeup that uses a handheld machine with tiny needles to implant pigment under the skin. This similar to a regular tattoo gun but much finer and more detailed.

During this process, Nanna fills pigment into your eyebrows, giving them more shape and colour. Nanna only use organic vegan based pigment which is CE certified, and meets the ISO 9001 : 2015 EU regulation standard, in addition to the extremely strict German Regulation on Cosmetics and Tattoo Pigments, 100% safe and cruelty-free. Never tested on animals and does not contain animal by-products.

Unlike traditional tattoos that go deep into the skin, Nanna uses fine needles to place pigment in the upper layer.

This creates a much subtler and more natural-looking effect. It's perfect if you have sparse brows, uneven arches, or simply crave the freedom of ditching the daily brow routine.

To start the ball rolling to get your eyebrows tattooed, it's best to first consult Nanna. She will examine your natural brows, skin tone, and recommend the best approach for you.

With her advice, you can feel comfortable and confident before committing to eyebrow tattooing. Make sure to ask questions, discuss expectations, and ensure this procedure aligns with your desired look.

Understanding the Eyebrow Tattoo Process

As an expert in cosmetic tattooing, Nanna's eyebrow tattooing is arguably one of the best in the field. So how does she make sure that the process is as painless and comfortable as possible?

First, Nanna numbs the area to minimize discomfort and then map out your desired brow shape. A specialised tool is used to delicately implant pigment into the skin, crafting your new eyebrows.

After your eyebrow tattoo session, expect some initial redness and swelling that fades within days. The initial colour might appear bold, but fret not! As the pigment settles (typically 4-6 weeks), your brows will soften into their natural-looking glory.

To ensure that your eyebrow tattoo stays in great shape, aftercare is a must. This likely involves gentle cleaning with a saline solution, keeping the area moist with ointment (as instructed), and avoiding irritants like makeup, strong sunlight, and sweating.

Eyebrow tattoos typically lasts 1-3 years. This means you can enjoy the convenience of perfectly shaped brows for years to come. To maintain its colour and definition,  you can schedule a touch up session with Nanna.

Other Types of Eyebrow Tattoo Style

Combination Brow
Multiple techniques and effects are used to create a custom brow for the client. By combining techniques you can accommodate for each client's brow requirements to create a naturally enhanced look. Usually microblading is used at the start of the brow with a hair stroke technique to replicate the appearance of brow hairs then transitions to powder-style shading on the middle and tail of the brow for a full lush look.

Eyebrow Microblading
Uses a tool made up of a group of small needles held in formation to act as a “blade” they come in three shapes U-Shape, C-Shape and a slanted blade, these are used to manually make small cuts into the upper layer of the skin dermis before adding pigment. This gives the appearance of brow hair strokes making the eyebrow appear naturally fuller best suited best for those with normal, dry, or combination skin types. It is a semi-permanent effect that gradually fades over 12-18 months. Eyebrow Feathering and Feather Touch Brow: Both are alternative terms for Microblading.

Nano Brow
Are a semi-permanent makeup technique similar to microblading in so much as they both replicate hair strokes. The difference is Nano brows are typically carried out with the help of a digital machine and a fine needle creating the hair effect by dots positioned closely together to make hair lines. This technique allows even those with oily skin to get those enviable brows with sharp hair strokes.

Magic Brow
A very specific type of eyebrow shading. Generally, it is stronger and more defined on the lower brow edge and softer on the upper brow edge. It can be executed using either machine or manual micro-shading techniques
