Lip Blush benefits: colour and definition, with care in mind
Lip Blush is worth exploring when the change you want concerns lip colour or definition. Start by explaining that change in your own words: the colours you like, the outline you notice or the makeup step you would like to discuss.
It is a cosmetic tattoo, so the decision includes early healing and care as well as the look you prefer.
Colour, definition and convenience are separate benefits to consider
If you mainly want a colour change, describe the colour you enjoy wearing and how noticeable you want it to be without other makeup. If the outline is your focus, explain what you want to look more defined. Those are clearer starting points than asking for “better lips”.
Colour can change the visual contrast of the lips; it is not a physical volume treatment. A more noticeable boundary is different from a larger lip. Nor should pigment be described as a treatment for dryness or as a replacement for ordinary lip care.
The practical appeal may be having a colour base you do not apply as a daily lipstick. That does not mean you must stop enjoying lipstick, or that every shade you currently wear becomes unnecessary. Think about whether you want a quiet everyday base or a more noticeable colour conversation.
Keep control over the reference you bring
Choose a small number of examples and say why you like each one. “I like this pink, but not the dark outline” gives more direction than a photograph with no explanation. “I enjoy berry lipstick on weekends, but want something quieter most days” also distinguishes everyday and occasional preferences.
Include a shade you dislike if it helps explain the boundary. You do not need to arrive with a final pigment formula. The colour discussion is about your preferences and treatment, not matching an opaque lipstick or glossy photograph exactly.
Plan for the early stage, not only the desired look
Lip Blush involves an initial appointment, changing early colour, care and the included five-week review. Mild swelling or dryness can occur, and visible early healing commonly takes five to seven days. That early period is not a guarantee of a final shade by day seven.
Use lip aftercare to judge the practical commitment. For the difference between lip-tattoo names, read the terminology guide.
Know the booking and follow-up
Standard Lip Blush is $750 for the initial 90-minute appointment and includes one standard touch-up. Signature Extended Care Lip Blush is $997 and includes three touch-ups total: one standard touch-up plus two additional no-expiry, Lip Blush-specific credits for the original client, subject to Nanna’s professional assessment. The first touch-up is at five weeks. Later refreshes may be discussed around one to two years; additional touch-ups are $247 when no valid credit remains for that treatment.
Can Nanna treat lips tattooed elsewhere?
Previous work by another practitioner needs Consultation and assessment first. Explain what you have and the change you want before assuming a standard booking is appropriate.
