Cosmetic tattoo touch-ups: the first review and later maintenance

The word “touch-up” can mean two different appointments: the first follow-up included with a new treatment, or a later visit to refresh existing work. Knowing which one you are discussing makes the timing and price much clearer.

At Cosmetic Tattooing, Standard Brows ($850), Lip Blush ($750) and Inner Eyeliner ($650) each include one standard touch-up. Signature Extended Care is $1,097 / $997 / $897 respectively and includes three touch-ups total: one standard touch-up and two additional no-expiry, treatment-specific credits for the original client, subject to Nanna’s professional assessment. Signature Indulgence has the same Extended Care touch-up entitlement plus a same-appointment BONUS facial; it is Warriewood only and subject to the promotional conditions. Later touch-ups use any valid remaining entitlement; when none remains, an eligible standalone touch-up is $247 for 45 minutes. Packages do not stack with coupons, Collection discounts or unrelated promotions; the included Indulgence facial is the sole approved exception.

What to notice before the first review

Keep the distinction between early changes and a settled result in mind. Brows may look darker initially, while lip colour changes during the early stage. Instead of judging each day as a separate result, note the questions you want to raise at the follow-up.

Useful notes are specific: “this section looks lighter than the area beside it”, “I would like to talk about the tail” or “I am unsure how the colour is settling”. A photograph can help record what you mean, provided you also say when it was taken. Similar light and a relaxed expression make the comparison easier to discuss.

The first touch-up gives Nanna an opportunity to review the early result and address colour or coverage where needed. It does not mean every temporary change needs immediate work, or that every adjustment is promised in advance.

Included review timing

For Ombre / Powder Brows and Eyeliner, the included touch-up is at four weeks; for Lip Blush, it is at five weeks. Keep following the treatment-specific care instructions while waiting for that review.

Later maintenance is a separate decision

There is no single maintenance date for every person's brows, lips and eyeliner. Explain whether you want to refresh the existing look or discuss a change, and keep the original appointment and care information together. For Lips, refresh timing may be discussed around one to two years. For Eyeliner, the discussion may fall between six months and one to two years. Discuss the appearance you have now rather than booking automatically at the earliest date.

CT's paid touch-up appointment is 45 minutes and costs $247 when no valid credit remains for the relevant treatment. Check the proposed service before treating that price as a quote for a new treatment or work originally done elsewhere.

Aftercare still matters

Do not treat a smaller follow-up as permission to skip care. Use the instructions provided for your treatment and ask if you are unsure which restrictions apply.
