Reading Treatment Images

A photograph can help you explain the look you like. Before comparing colour, check whether it shows newly treated or healed cosmetic tattooing. The stage matters, because the early appearance can change during healing.

Look closely at the photographs

Open photographs in the Results Gallery for a closer look. Choose Brows, Lips or Inner Eyeliner, then look for the details you want to discuss with Nanna, such as brow shape, lip colour or the eyeliner look.

Check the treatment stage

Photographs labelled “immediately after treatment” show the early appearance, rather than healed colour. Brow colour can settle over four to six weeks; lip colour can change during healing; eyeliner may look bolder initially and soften.

Where a photograph or video does not state the stage, ask Nanna before using it as a healed-colour comparison. Several panels in one photograph do not, by themselves, establish a before-and-after sequence.

Are the photographs taken straight after treatment or once healed?
Photographs labelled “immediately after treatment” show the early appearance, rather than healed colour. Where the stage is not stated, ask Nanna before using the photograph as a comparison. A photograph with several panels does not, by itself, tell you which was taken first.
