Ombre Brows and microblading: shading versus hair-like marks
The clearest starting point in this comparison is the visual approach: shading and individual hair-like marks describe different effects. At CT, the offered brow treatment is Ombre / Powder Brows—a shaded gradient, lighter towards the front and deeper towards the tail.
Ombre and Powder Brows are two names for the same CT service. Microblading, nano and combination terminology should not be read as additional CT booking options.
Compare the effect before comparing the promise
Shading reads as an area of colour. Individual hair-like marks are intended to read as separate lines. In a close-up, look for that distinction instead of relying only on the technique name beside the photograph.
Within shading, a gradient changes the intensity across the brow. CT's Ombre / Powder description is lighter towards the front and deeper towards the tail. That is separate from the overall outline: a gradient does not by itself determine the arch, thickness or length.

Avoid a comparison built on fixed guarantees
Claims that one technique always lasts longer, is always painless or is automatically best for a skin type leave out the person and the actual work. This guide explains the visual distinction rather than assigning you a technique from a chart.

Understand the treatment you can book
Standard Brows is $850 for the initial 90-minute appointment and includes one standard touch-up. Signature Extended Care Brows is $1,097 and includes three touch-ups total: one standard touch-up plus two additional no-expiry, Brows-specific credits for the original client, subject to Nanna’s professional assessment. The first touch-up is at four weeks. Numbing cream is used, with approximately 15 minutes allowed before treatment; sensation varies.
The initial appearance can be darker and more defined, settling over four to six weeks. The first touch-up is an opportunity to review the early result and address colour or coverage where needed.

Ask about existing work first
If another practitioner tattooed your brows, Nanna needs a Consultation and assessment before agreeing to treatment. Do not assume a different technique name means old work can simply be covered or changed.
